How to Get Microsoft Advertising Data to Google Sheets?

In today’s article, I will show you how to get Microsoft Advertising data (aka “Bing Ads”) to Google Sheets.  It’s quite simple.

You will need to install Supermetrics add-on to your Google Sheets. Get it here:

Once the add-on is installed, navigate to the Google Sheet where you want to download Microsoft Advertising data. Go to Add-Ons>Supermetrics>Launch:

01 - Supermetrics - Launch

Supermetrics sidebar will open, locate Data Sources:

Find Microsoft Advertising in the list, click it and go through the authentication process:

Once you are authenticated, start building your report:

  1. Select account (you can select more than one)
  2. Period
  3. Metrics
  4. Dimensions
  5. Filters

Once you are done with the report config, click the big blue button “Get Data to Table” and your data will be populated. In my example, I’m downloading Year-Month, Account Name, Campaign Name, and Cost:

Super easy, super sleek, right? Well, there is one more thing… You can also schedule your downloads after you are done with your query configuration:

06 - Supermetrics - Schedule

Click “Add trigger” button:

07 - Supermetrics - Trigger

Configure the trigger and save:

And that’s it. You now have your Microsoft data being downloaded to Google Sheets on a regular basis without making a single click 🙂 Enjoy!
